Biography

Brooke Lawrence was born and raised in Florida. Before beginning her Legal Assistant career in 2015, Brooke was a small business owner in Ormond Beach, Florida. Brooke moved to Haywood County, North Carolina in 2000 and opened another small business from 2000-2011. Brooke then changed her career path and worked for a local attorney, for six years, specializing in Immigration. Brooke began working with Vanhook Law in 2021.

Brooke received her Associates in Business Administration and is currently working on her Associates of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Haywood Community College where she is a Phi Theta Kappa member and is on the Dean's List.

Brooke works hands-on with clients through every step of their case from the scheduling of their initial consultation through the conclusion of the case. She helps clients navigate this emotional and often overwhelming process with compassion and understanding while keeping them updated and informed.

Personal

Brooke and her daughter, Alexis, are the founders of #AustinStrong, a non-profit corporation that brings awareness to the Slow Down Move Over (SDMO) Laws in all 50 States.

Brooke is a full-time student and enjoys traveling, reading, playing bingo and spending time with her three grandchildren.
